I am thinking about starting a saltwater Aquarium, And I saw this anamone-thing at a publick aquarium that i thingk would be neat to have. It looked like several feather quill pens in a holder. Does anyoneknow the real name of this, and what its specs are? I think its name was either quill something or pen something.

Thanks!!!

Sounds like a feather duster, a type of tubeworm. Their requirements are relatively simple, if not always easy to provide. They are not photosynthetic, so they don't need intense light. They can tolerate relatively high nutrient levels, in fact it may help keep up levels of microorganisms that they feed on. Like most invertebrates, they will require stable salinity, temperature etc. The hardest thing is probably going to be feeding them. Very small phytoplankton, like the nanochloropsis found in DTs, is probably usable.
Here are a few links, although I think Toonen or Shimek has something even better that I can't find right now.

Thanks for the links, but that wasn't it. It looks just like a large fluffy feather pen. thanks again, though.
