Posted this in Chit-Chat, but it might do better here.....
My wife and I are thinking about visiting the GTA for a look-see (if we like it, we might consider moving there), but I'm curious...
What kind (and quality) of LFS do you folks have, and are there any companies who are doing aquarium service (come out to your place, clean the tank, etc.)?

you can hire me to do your tank lol. but we got 3 big als around here depending on where you living. if you planning to come to anywhere near scarbrough, markham, or north york, you're in luck. there's 5 LFS worth going in a 20min drive radius
I think there are more like six or seven Big Al's within the greater Toronto area. I just did a quick look in the yellow pages under "Aquariums" and found 5 listings for York, one of the four regions in the GTA.
C'mon down, we'ed love to have you :)

Well, if I ever get any vacation time (and Las Vegas doesn't come between me and the GTA), we're there!!

The two Big Als locations worth visiting are the Mississauga store and the Scarborough store. Right next door to the Mississauga Big Als is Dragon Aquarium, which is also quite good, especially if you like bigger fish.
However, the better fish stores are across the border, The Fish Place in North Tonawanda, NY and Pets Plus in Lockport, NY.
