So how do I do it? Right now it is growing pretty tall and spread out, how can I make it grow shorter and more bushy?
I have high light...and my wisteria keeps sending out runners to the side giving the effect you are after....which I am not after *L*
I think lighting is the key. I have 2x55PC over 29g.

I agree. Bright lighting will make it grow compact and low(er) lighting levels will cause it to stretch towards the surface.

hmm ok. I only have 2WPG, but it's a 20L tank so at least the tank is short. I also haven't had the wisteria very long. When I bought it from the LFS it was very tall, it was barely getting any light. It was cheap though. Anyway I had to cut it way down and it's starting to look much better. I'll give it some more time and hopefully it will spread out more. Thanks!
