Hagen Junior Bottom Filter

Has anyone ever used a Hagen Junior Bottom Filter. It says there for up to 10gallons. It doesn't have to be the specific name just the same type of filter, one of the bottom ones. If you've used one what is your oppinion on it?

i tried one once to raise jack demphsey fry and they all ended up in the filter. so, not wanting to waste money i moved it to a small tank of cardinals and they got stuck in there. i was pretty mad just turned out to be a really good trap didn't kill any fish but it came close. I'd say the filter is basically usless go to a sponge filter, about the same price but way better.

I ahve used it on a small snail breeding tank with some ghost shrimp, it worked fine there. I have never used it with fish though.

I agree that a sponge filter might be better for about the same price.
