I have a 55 gal with 3 angels and a clown pleco. fully planted. have had many problems with algae, but also just lost an angel recently(used to have four) that i have no idea why. another one of the angels has a major swim bladder problem and lies on the bottom of the tank on her side, or against the glass when she can to keep herself upright. the other two are doing fine. they are a mating pair and last time they mated is when i lost the other angel and this one started showing issues. i am leaving for vacation tomorrow and wondering if i should just take her out and euthanize her.

Mting angels can be very aggressive to other angels, do you have a place to isolate the sick angel? Otherwise euthanization may be in order.
I have had a bout with 'angel aids' which can crop up even a few months after introducing new fish. I have been successfull in treating this with a combo of Maracyn Two and 'Had-a-Snail'.

sorry
good luck
