I have been interested for awhile in getting a certain african cichlid. The owner of a now defunct LFS told me what it was 4 or 5 years ago but I have forgotten.I think it might have been "acei"(pronounced A-C-I) or something like that. The fish is purple with yellow fins and I have seen them up to about 4 or 5 inches. Almost everywhere I go now simply labels a whole tank "African Cichlids" so without a real knowledgeable person in the area I have no info at all on this fish.
