I'm trying to figure out what I need as far as plumbing for my 150. I have two weirs within the tank that each have a 1" return and 3/4" supply. I was hoping to maybe use flexible tubing underneath the tank to go to the sump instead of PVC Piping? It seems that this would reduce alot of head pressure created by 90 deg angles. Any thoughts on this? Also does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of plumbing I should put within the weirs for the overflow/return portion? -thanks- Jamie

The foamy thing is from allglass it is a kit with a couple of foams and a serated pipe so the water can flow. The output I have a check valve then a piece of flex PVC then an elbow .

I installed 2 valves and unions so I can do major maintance if needed and I can close everything off and remove the sump if needed. You can also use the valves to control the flow of water.
