I'm trying to figure out what I need as far as plumbing for my 150. I have two weirs within the tank that each have a 1" return and 3/4" supply going to/from my sump. I was hoping to maybe use flexible tubing underneath the tank to go to the sump instead of PVC Piping? It seems that this would reduce alot of head pressure created by 90 deg angles. Any thoughts on this? Also does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of plumbing I should put within the weirs for the overflow/return portion? -thanks- Jamie

I used some shutoff valves from my sump, and then plastic barbed fittings, then attached flexable hose. One thing I learned the hard way is to have a hole drilled above the water line for any plumbing you may use to direct water flow. Everything will syphon out of your tank, and onto the floor........... oops:(
