Noice!!! I've been ogling a blue phantom plec for a few weeks now at my LFS but they're asking $130 or something rediculous so they're making it really easy to pass it up.

Yeah, one is an L114. I've had them before. Kicked my Schneeball out of his hiding spot. He's in a 55 and the Schneeball is not aggressive and won't act as a threat. So far they a get along fine in that the Schneeball doesn't mess with the L114.
Not exactly sure what the Schnee is. Here are some picks

And Mrs. Fanatic is Oblivious to the fish. She just sees that I brought home 3 fish. She doesn't see that I brought home $97 of fish. Oh, that's right, I bought all of those beauts for a grand total of $97:headbang2:

Oh, I know. The guy tells me that the prices have gone way up on the Phantoms and I'm thinking he's going to tell me $60. But I talked to the owner for a few minutes last week and I guess he liked me because he marked down the GN from $35 to $30 as well.
He also had in a Galaxy Pleco, two different kinds of Zebra Plecos including the False Zebra (looks like the badass black and white pleco), Royal Clowns in two different sizes, Queen Arabesque and something else that is eluding me. The Queens are $45. Can't get him to come down on those...
Either way, SCORE!!!

I've yet to see one small fancy plec,the best ones i've seen were a panaque nigrolineatus,for 45 euro, a baryancistrus L047 for 60 euro and a L177

I live in St. Louis....There are a couple of really good LFS here...Beldt's is probably the best. nice selection of just about everything. Pet Martkeplace has GREAT Plecos. I bought all 3 there. Tropical World has some great Africans. Aquaworld is really pricy but they have the best plants I have ever seen. They also have a great selection of Africans, Altum angels and Discus. They even have two tanks of Rays. Some Motoro and Tiger (i think)
It's pretty difficult for me to go to the shops because if i see a catfish i'm always pretty tempted to buy it.I had to throgh a pretty tough decision between agamyxis pectinifrons, a banjo catfish and a platydoras costatus.in the end i went for the agamyxis.I told myself that would've been the last catfish, but then i saw what i think is an ancistrus ranunculus and i just had to buy him
Oh yeah the only small fancy plec i saw was a hypancistrus zebra,pity it was just a dream
