Powerhead uses

Has anyone else found that powerheads are good for many other things besides aquariums? Case in point, a friend of mine left his windows down during a thunderstorm. The car had about 8 inches of water in it. We hooked up a mini-jet powerhead and some vinyl tubing and pumped the water right on out! It was much more efficient than bailing.

Anyone else have good non-traditional uses for them?

I use a powerhead for moving water during water changes. Not quite non-traditional, but I use them for more than just making current in the fish tank.
