Pictures! New 30" Semi Planted

Its all coming together nicely now! Just waiting on a friend who is buying my 18gal inc filter so I can get some extra money for a filter because I'm using dual filtration at the moment.

My Inhabitants are:

2 breeding kribs
6 krib fry (1-2 months)
2 Blue Rams
2 bristlenose

I've got a few plants in there that have made the tank half planted. I've got a plateau in the tank, which is a small piece of acrylic plastic (clear) with pebbles sprinkled completly over it, held up by pieces of brick.


Kribs love to use this as a home and gives the tank a little more room.


Towards the left of the picture the side of the tank is fully planted.

Now that I think about it they are just plain pictures. I've changed the way the plants are positioned so that they sit in the middle to reduce growing slanted from the current. Looks alot nicer now. Have 1 bunch of the plant of the background either side of the long thin leaved plant.

When I get anothe pair of somthing I'll start taking fish pictures and post them.

How would a pair of cockatoo's go in there?

I'm finding that the kribs are directing there attensions towards the much smaller rams so I need perhaps to bring the dithers back or add some more fish to share around the harassment.

Yeah I was thinking about it but I've been really sick lately and have generated a headache just from reading anything or looking at bright lights...Cold and Flu.

Sry about that....but cockatoo's? I still want to know if its a good addition and also info on sexing rams? I don't think it is possible at this stage.. They are only half and inch big I'd say.

Oh BTW the first picture would only turn out when I had a flash and its mostly posted because I was hoping that ><>Funsize<>< would see that his Idea of putting a little platform in the tank wasn't such a bad Idea, except he is doing it to a larger degree in his 4ft"
