white lump coming out of RD anus...prolapsed intestine?

a white lump appears hanging out of my RD's anus this morning.....its certainly not worms....after reading a post posted by one of the board member...i conclude it could be prolapsed intestines....as i did not soak my pellets be4hand....anyone have seen or expereinced this before?...what should i do??....im planning on fasting him for at least 48 hours.....hopefully it goes back to normal...is there any medication for this? thanx
