well i just went for a little stroll thru the garage and discovered that in the course of moving someone cracked my 38 gal... needless to say i'm slightly po'd but anyway...

i'm without a doubt replacing it with something of similar or slightly larger size. i can't go completely crazy (much as i'd like to) and get a 125 because i'm going to college in a year but i could probably get away with up to a 55 or so. i think i'm going to use it to house a pair of kribs in a planted community, but i'm not positive and i'd welcome suggestions of interesting fish- though i don't really want to do rift lake cichlids b/c of the cost and the short time i have to enjoy them. i'm only going to be able to keep one bigger tank so i'm really going for an interesting one.

my real question, besides suggestions for fish is, what size aquarium would you guys suggest most? I know most people don't like 55's, for example, because they are narrow front-to-back and harder to light... sorry so long, but if anyone has suggestions about what to or not to get i'd really appreciate it.

If you have the stand and equipment for a 38 gallon I would get another one of those (of course only if you were happy with the size of the tank, availablity, cost ETC.)

But if not I would go for a 75 gallon :)

THEY SAY BIGGER IS BETTER, I WOULD BUY THE BIGGEST TANK THAT I COULD AFFORD.
