i just a pair today, do they like salt, should i put some in to prevent ich or diease?

NO i find with softer water fish mainly cichlids of ph 7.5 and down they go crazy and eventually die my oscars went disease free for ages without salt;)

No, they really don't need salt. Oscars, IME, respond very well to treatments. Also, they are hardy fish IMO, so keeping their water clean will, for 90% of the time, keep them disease free. I never used salt when I used to have oscars, infact I used to own them when I knew very little about fish keeping with very few problems... the occasional ich breakout.
What size tank are you housing them in currently?

Agreed, no need for salt...I, too, would like to know the tank size...90 seems to be a bare minimum for keeping two Os to maturity.

its a 100 gallon, but one day i would wanna upgrade to a bigger tank, like maybe a 500. thanks guyys

seems like ich is started to come on one of my oscars, should i apply salt at this point to kill it off, i'm gonna do a water change on sunday and do this once a week
