hello all
recently i had a pair of breeding jags in my 55g .
they begun the mating process in typical cichlid fashion(cleaning the pot ,digging out around it)
the female laid her eggs and the male fertilized them(200-300)
everything was perfect till now.
after a couple of days the eggs begun to be darker and the fries begin to appear in the eggs.
it was untill the 4-5th day that the tragedy happened!
Before the fries hatched all were dead ! and their parents ate ate them as they were dead....
what could have caused this death??
water conditions were ideal.no other fish in the aquarium,and the parents were in good health.
