Folks:

I have wanted some Oto's but I do not enjoy the appearance of the Oto's typically available.

I searched PlanetCatfish for Oto's and found Otocinclus cocama, aka Zebra Oto, which appeared to be a very pretty fish.

I have tried to locate a vendor for these fish for many months to no avail.

This morning I found a listing by CorysRUs for these fish on AquaBid and have ordered seven.

I will keep yall posted on how it goes.

If anyone is interested in purchasing Zebra Oto's I recommend that you contact Bryan at CorysRUs.com immediately as they may not last long.

Great find! Thanks!

I have a few too, my LFS gets them once in a while. Where are you??

Tanker:

I am in San Angelo, Texas but I have already ordered the oto's as well as seven orange laser cory's (I hope that they are as nice as PC photographs) in order to save on shipping costs.

Ihave orange and green stripe cory, not as active as others but still fun to watch. They tend to line travel around the tank a lot.

did you check the aquaboard feedback for Corysrus before buying?

wow those otos are awesome, wish i could find some around Dallas.

The Oto's were too young to place in my main tank and they are in a 5G which has identical water parameters as the main tank.

They ate some the first ten days but the last several days they have become voracious eaters which I presume is due their accustomization to my tank water.

In addition to picking out veggies from my home made recipes on the bottom each one is eating an algae wafer per day.

I anticipate that within a month I will be required to place half of them in another 5G tank.
