Think this would work? And when i order them should i order them at small size or mediums? or one small and one medium? Thanks..and suggestions for the 3rd fish please? someone mentioned angels?

A wolf eel would work in a 55,however that would be it.
They are about 5x meaner than a moray.2x meaner than a trigger.

I have an interest in wolf eels.
I may later set up a 125 with a wolf eel and a clown trigger.
Now that's alot of testosterone.

Honestly look into used tanks. I found a perfectly functional 55 gallon with wet dry and everything for only 100 bucks. The 55 is a good price for a new 55 (I think I know what deal you are talking about and the filter is not equipped to handle saltwater). If I remember correctly there is no bio-wheel or anything so look into a better set up. None of the Walmart deals are meant for saltwater. Volitans WILL NOT by an means work in a 55. They get to the size of a basketball (I am not exagerating at all) and their total size is 15 inches. Go with a dwarf and a dwarf only. Just a suggestion, if you have plans that change to your tank set up, keep it all in the same thread. All these threads about your tank are a bit overkill. So for now on, just keep stuff related to the same tank in the same thread as long as it is recent.
