My Blue rams, 2 juvi kribs and bristlenose pleco are getting very small white spots on them. My pleco is getting heaps and heaps. What is this? Is this white spot? Fungus? Parasites? They almost look like mini eggs.
BTW my krib just laid eggs. My male krib looks to be unaffected and he is the largest in the tank. My agassizi's are also unaffected. I did a water change about %20. Maybe it was just old water?

sounds like ich. There are several methods of curing it. Personally I have always used a product called "Quick Cure". Some folks add salt and raise the tank temp.

I agree with BV77, it looks like ich.
Raising the temperature and adding salt is the non-medication way that you can get rid of it... I don't believe that ich can survive higher temps.
Quick Cure also works nicely, but I will warn you... do not overdose with it. I lost a discus that we had for 6 months to it :(

alright, Got questions
how serious is this?
and what is the cause?
I think I'll pick up some salts and raise the tempreture
Is it just normal aquarium salts?
Or maybe the stuff you add to salt water tanks?
also how long do I have before it gets to the point of no return?
And also :D Why is it only on some of my fish?
thanks guys, I may just go the quick cure..but if you could go ahead and answer my questions...Thanks...sry to be a pain. Just want to know so next time it doesn't happen.
