a friend of mine had a FOWLR tank with florida fish and inverts, and he moved and gave them to me. problem is i dont have the time to take care of the pipefish and seahorse and thers too many of the shrimp. i think they are gulf coast pipefish and some kinda red pipefish. the seahorse is small and green but it looks mature, maybe a pregnant male. some of the shrimp look like tiny green camel shrimp, the others are long and skinny. barely look like shrimp at all. they were eating when he gave them to me. i want to sell some of them, but im not sure how. any one with info or offers, please reply!:grinyes:

I'm kindof interested to see the shrimp. Could you post pics?:D

i wish. i need a better camera. i was hoping someone would know what i was talking about. the shrimp are really cool tho

these fish are so cool. the dwarf seahorse is just fun to watch, and the caribbean pipefish are like little, community safe moray eels. the smaller pipefish are red with whitish purplish bands.

What is FOWLER first of all, and my mom has wanted a seahorse tank for idk how long, she goes ape **** over the thought of fragile water tortoises I guess.

Price, ?

Shipping ?

PM me if need be.

Thanks.

fowlr = fish only with live rocks....

if you have no experiences with pipefish or seahorses, then don't bother..they are a lot more difficult to take care of compare to high tech planted tanks even reef tanks due to what they eat and how picky they eat...
i used to breed pygmy seahorses and its a pita even though the results were rewarding.

These are my initial thoughts if I were to get a seahorse;

small tank with ONLY he/she in it, few rocks and such, and brine shrimp for feed, plus closely watched water params.

Besides that, if they are if a tank alone what else can go wrong?
