Just a quick question, I just brought some frozen bloodworms for my fish and was wondering do i need to thaw them out before feeding or do i just put them straight in frozen ?

Thanks

Thaw them first. Eating frozen foods is not good for fish--the sudden chilling in their gut is bad. I use a small jar, scoop up some tank water, let them soak. Run this through a strainer, and add to tank. This way, you rinse off some of the tiny particles that wouldn't be eaten and they don't pollute your tank.

I've read that it is best to score the frozen wafer of the bloodworms (or brine shrimp) with a utility knife into cubes, and then put it in a ziplock back in the freezer and as then use as OrionGirl described.

I have some frozen bloodworms in my freezer which I will attempt to feed tomorrow morning.
