Paintball Co2 Systems and other Co2 questions

1. Does anybody use these type of systems, I was wondering because I wanted to use them (to be on the cheaper less hard working side) If you have any pics of your setups I would appreciate it if you can post some Please.
2. For those that use it or have experience would you prefer the "paintball method"? If not what would you prefer?
3. What parts I would need to make those valve regulator things so I could hook up to a paintball Co2 system and then a Co2 diffuser. If you have any pics of your setups I would appreciate it if you can post some.
4. What would I use to let the Co2 in my aquarium get to the plants?, a bubble rock?, a Co2 diffuser?

Check out www.rexgrigg.com. His website, while slightly whimsical at times, is extremely useful on learning how to setup a pressurized co2 system. The rest of the site is very useful as well, but the co2 section should hold particular interest for you at the moment.

It has exactly what you want. A list of what you need, and a step by step with pictures of how it should be set up.
 
I'm guessing here but I've heard that paint ball CO2 might have a little lubricant in there thus might not be good for fish and plants. Can anyone verify this?

I've also seen adds from Lowes advertising CO2 canisters for pneumatic power tools that could work. The tanks look a little bit bigger and might be refillable. Again, I'm not certian about this but its something to think about and maybe do some research on...

they now have 24 oz bottles,, paintball bottles are filled from large CO2 cyclinders..if there is any lube in paintball bottles it would come from the large cyclinder( I know they use a lube in propane)
in essence if there is a lube in it it would be the same lube you would get on the larger cyclnders. my understanding is they do not use a lube.

the cost to fill a 20-24 oz bottle is $3-$5 around here you should prob replace the o ring on every fill(I find they go bad after bing on the regulator for 3-4 weeks.
larger bottles are more economical...(large cyclinders)
