1 5 1/2" Fairy Peacock
1 7" Deepwater Hap
Also have a 35 gallon with a 3" Frontosa, will put pics up later...

very cool pics. Post a picture of the stand. mabey its just the way it showed up in the picture of the tank, but it looks sort of cool.
Is that a male venustus or a female? I thought the males had a yellow body with blue face? I have a couple myself and love them.
They have become my favorites in that particular tank. I'm pretty sure one of them is a male at least. Noticing a sheen of blue on him, plus the face is starting to change. About how big do they get too? Sorry for so many questions.

It's definitely a male.
They get from 10-12" I think, depending on conditions.
Females get about 8-10" I believe.

never heard of a "fairy peacock" before:p
looks like a aulonocara stuartgranti maulana bicolor 500, but it doesnt have alot of yellow behind the head...

Yeah, it's a Bi-Color.
They misidentiified it as a Freiberg's peacock, a.k.a. Fairy Peacock Cichlid.
I'll have more updated pics later.

It's been running for about a year now.
I started with SA/CAs, but when my Oscar died I changed my direction. This gives me much more satisfaction, although the workload increased significantly.
