This is a picture of the platy that I would like to add into my tank once it is established. I don't know of anyone around here who has these so I'm going to go through a newly found *Great* petstore, however as I come from a bilingual province, and the owner of this place is french I want to make sure he understands exactly what it is that I want, and I can't explain it to him if I don't know what it is myself. Its apparently a topsail platy, but everytime I google it I get the not-as-nice versions of topsails and they don't even have the same coloration... Any ideas as to what this color is considered?

It's hard to tell which one is the one in the posted picture. But look for different platies at this link;

I think the color is "Sunset Marigold".

I think the sunset high fin platy is as close as I'll come to this. I think maybe this is a color variation created by the owners of the site that I found the fish on.

Renay, I would go to the site where you found the fish and see if they give the scientific name. A big advantage to the scientific name is that its the same in any language.
