Caught that nasty Mantis

Well I finally cornered the Mantis Shrimp that has been ripping into my nassarius Snails and excavating my Mushroom Coral rock.
Thing is it is now sitting in a tub in my sump tank where it can't do any harm but what do I do with it, it can't stay in the sump permantly and I would rather it go to a good home. :)

If anyone else has had this problem what did you do with your Mantis???

I think childawg was looking for a mantis shrimp at one point try getting in touch with him he may still want it.

if not then talk to your LFS's some people like to set up specimen tanks for these things so you might be able to sell it.

A 2 inch smasher mantis just sold at my LFS for $29.99 They said that they got it out of some live rock that had shipped in, and they were going to put it in a tank with an emperor snapper and an undulated trigger to see who snacke don it first, but decided to see if it sold. I think it sold in something like two days.
