filter impeller

does anyone know where i can get an impeller for a hartz crystal clean III? i dont need the motor, just the impeller. i put an old impeller from a different filter in, and it works, but the blades are wider, and they're hitting on the plastic and making alot of noise. any help would be appreciated

This is likely to be as cheap as any impeller you would purchase.

Or go with one of the more common HOB filters: Aquaclear, Eheim Liberty, Penguin, etc. For those, impellers and spare parts are sold by all major retailers, both on-line and traditional.

yes, thats where i got this one, and ive only had it for about a month. apparently, that self priming impeller isn't really self priming, because it sticks, and wont turn fast. i guess you get what you pay for.:mad:
