Oh that looks nice! I might steal that plant in a strawberry pot idea. :)

That looks really nice... I will have to pass that idea along to my grandma (she has African cichlids too.) Where did you get the little pagoda-ish things?

It's so weird, I've never seen the name Alaric before, and now, this is the third time I've come across it in two weeks!

I really dig it. I recently obtained some rock but didn't have the guts to go all rock as you have... I figure it would be "too tight" in a 30g, but maybe when I graduate to a tank that size I'll consider it...

Thats pretty cool. Where did you get all those rocks like that? I have one in my tank that my grandmother gave me when i was like 6 years old and its the only one ive been able to get my hands on.

Looks Great! Are those lights in or under the bottom of the strawberry pots? Neat idea!!:)

Thanks for the replies all. The rocks are my precious Lake Michigan stones. Had to lug them about a quarter of a mile to my truck. Over the years I,ve collected a lot of them. They are a wide variety of colors and shapes. Most are real smooth and round. The pogadas are made out of lavastone and I must say I am quite proud of them. They are heavy but they look AWESOME. I got them at Cost-Plus World Market. I think they are meant for gardens or something. Actually there are no lights inside or beneath the strawberry pots . The only lights are the ones on top of the tank. As you can see they kind of light up the pots for a neat effect.
