Cryptocoryne Rot

Is it possible to have Cryptocoryne Rot on Ludwigia repens, or does that only effect Cryptocorynes?

I think Crypt rot is when you change the conditions of the plant's environment so much that it can't keep up and decomposes. I'm sure it happens to other plants too but Crypts have a reputation of doing it.
My Ludwigia hasn't done anything like that before.

My L. Repens is possibly the most resilient plant I hve as far as water changing conditions.

Asides from my lights dying over a tank once for a week I have seen few things slow that stuff down, let alone cause "rot".

Now, I have had Crypt rot happen each time I make a major change to the tank my crypts are in. (like re-arranging plants and disturbing their roots). Along with recently some amazon sword s seem to be "rotting" because i'm slowly moving the PH down some in preparation for adding some discus.

Crypts hate me. I must be the one person that can't grow them! I've had a stand of wendtii (I think that's what it is, it's brown with wrinkly edges) for about a year. Melted as soon as I dropped it in, then took off for about 2 months. Since then, none of the plantlets have any more than 3 or 4 small leaves at once, and they're always in the middle of a meltdown. Literally. It drives me nuts! I have some C. balansae as well, and it never has more than 5 or 6 leaves at a time. Quite sad.
