What are good and easy plants to get and take care of for my 20 gallon tropical tank. I know I need substrate, fertilizer, and a special light. Is there anything else. Thanks.

The easiest of the easy are the ones that don't require substrate at all such as; Java fern , java moss and anubias species. These will all do will attached to rocks or drift wood, They do nut do well planted in a substrate. Some of the other easy ones are hygro difformis(water sprite), hygro polysperma, anacharis, hornwort, ludwiga repens. I'm sure there are many more the lighting, 1.5 watts per gal should be the least amount of light you should go for with more being better. For the substrate fourite will be the best (IMO) plain gravel will work. there are many options i suggest you read up on the net about them. Ferts are also important although they are relative to the amount of light /c02 setups. heres a good link to help you get started.
