I just bought 4 clumps of MONDO grass and someone said that it was not a real Aquarium grass? Hmmm. I guess If i don't do well with them I'll go Java Fern. ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREAT

I have Mondo Grass in my backyard :D :D :D
You'd be surprised what terrestrials they sell as aquarium plants- they'll live a short while, though. Long enough to get some nice photos!

Yea, I unknowingly got mondo grass the first time I got live plants(with some anacharis). The were looking fine for some time, but after a few months, the leaves started dying and they were not good.

It's a shame that fish stores sell plants that are not true aquatic plants. There are several others I've seen them selling.
