Would cherry shrimp survive in the 20 gallon tank in my sig???? If not what would you change???? I think i would have to get rid of the barbs. What should i replace them with???

Also anyone know anyone who sells cherries in Canada???

The barbs would be a problem. Is the tank densely planted? the shrimp should do "ok" with small fish as long as there are areas of dense planting. Good luck finding shrimp in canada!

I have mine in with pygmy cories (which are mid-water dwellers) and they are doing really well. Small tetras would work as well (I love ember tetras). I also keep them with cardinal tetras and cherry barbs and they are doing quite well because of the dense areas of planting.

I think you should remove the barbs. The Rasboras I wouldn't worry bout since the ones I have don't bother shrimp. How planted is your tank? Do you have plenty of hiding spots and vegetation?

lots or java moss and fern (more coming soon) as well as amazon sowrd, some sort of grass and a couple other un-identifieds (some sort of anubias (sp)). This tank is my test planted tank for the 90 i am getting in a couple weeks, as well as the 210 that should be coming soon.

Also any ideas on the clown plecos compatibility???? So i will move all the barbs to 55. Then the stock of the 55 to the 90 (minus the silver dollars cuz they will destroy my plants) Sound good????
