I have a rainbow shark in my 55gal - hes about 5" in length. I've had him about 6 mos now, and up until today he has been great - active, and seemingly healthy. I noticed today though that he is just swimming in the corner of the tank and when i looked at him he has an eye problem. It happened to a red tailed shark I had in the same tank about a month ago (that one eventually died). His eyes had a clearish film over the top of them. It is a thick, jelly looking substance. Does anyone know what it is, what I can do to cure it, if my other fish are in danger (contagious), and how they get this disease. Like I said I had one other fish get it, but my tank seems fine. All the other fish are healthy and happy, I do my water changes, etc. Thanks for the help...
