I've noticed in my newly acquired Vals that there are tiny bubbles emanating from some of the leaves. Anyone know what that is?

breakage in a leaf can cause oxygen bubbles to escape. Similar to pearling

It means that you are doing something right and the plants are photosynthesizing and producing oxygen! Either that or maybe they suffered some damaged or you just changed the water
