i have had a male betta for a year now and a few weeks ago he looked awful(not eating, not moving and was a strange white color) i changed his water and gave him another plant and even treated him for a general fungus and now he's fine with only one major change-his appetite, he only eats one mouthful and then settles back to the bottom of his bowl-bowl is 1g. i've read that bettas don't live long and so i am wondering if he is just getting old and i should prepare for his death??
