I have a 14 gallon L:20" W:10" H:16 that is currently home to the following fish

1 Swordtail
1 BH Tetra
1 Albino cory
1 Male guppy
3 Neon Tetras

I would reallly like to add either one or two more of either corys or BH tetras, however i dont want a depletion of oxygen either :)

Would adding these fish be plausable ? or not so much ?

Also, would adding one species instead of the other be a good idea ?

Thanks :)

more corydoras is probably the best idea, along with more neons.

Wow 14g...hmmm...I think you're stocked.

You could add a couple of cories. Ideally I would trade the swordtail for a couple of BH tetras and get a couple more neons as well. What kind of filter do you have?

i'm gonna vote fully stocked.. not based on oxygen level (proper water circulation and surface agitation will negate that concern anyway) but based on bioload vs. tank volume.

I semi-agree. Trade the swordtail for more tetras---but neons only.

IMO--BH grow too big. I have a school of BH in my 100gal, and they are the size of my palm. Much too big for a 14gal.
