Pics: Pearl Gourami, Gold Nugget, Black Skirt

Very nice pictures of some beautiful fish. I am planning on taking some pics of my tank in the near future. What should I do in terms of lighting (just aquarium light, all room lights & aquarium, etc.) and flash (yes or no)?

Turn off all of your filters if you can, then use just tank lighting. Take the pics at night so you don't see any reflections of other parts of the room. I've never tried flash, but I've seen some pics here where all lights are off and they only use the flash for lighting. Don't bother with the flash and tank lighting. Be patient...take lots of pics. It may take a while to catch the fish when they are sitting still.

Nice pics! Thanks for posting them...
I like how the "blue" coloring shows on the Gourami...

awesome picts!!!

one question though, what camera are you using? I have noticed that the cameras that take decent pictures of aquariums and the stuff in them are close to professional caliber.
