I am getting a shipment in soon, not much but how will know when to trim it? And can I replant the cut offs? cut of with wat? Thx

trim it when it gets too big on most plants u can replants the trimmings. trim with a sharp clean blade such as scissors or a knife

It depends on what you have and what you don't. If you meet the requirements the plants need (lighting, fertilizers,co2), they will grow quick(depends on what plants you have), and you will probably have to trim once a week or two(if you have fast growing plants). If you dont have what they want, they will definitely grow slower and you probably don't have to worry about 1 or 2 weeks maybe the third week or fourth. And just snip with your fingers to cut.

Java moss
4 Large stems of hornwort
2 large stems of Anacharis
Table spoon of Riccia
water sprite
dwarf hairgrass
2 italian vals
I crypt tropica plantlet

WPG is 3.6, diy co2

Oh, with those plants? Na, you probably don't need to do trimming too much. Maybe the hornwort or anacharis water sprite, yeah.. Just watch them.

With CO2 and 3.6 wpg, your Water Sprite and Riccia probably won't stay small for long lol.
