Hi guys I wanted to get some snails for my tank but the first couple I bought where eaten the first night by my clowns I am guessing, I have 4 about 3 inches long.

MTS will burrow but when they need to come up to the surface to feed they will be eaten for sure...how ironic...

but no other snails will survive.

I had 4 loaches.....added about 10 MTS.....within a week or two all that was left of the snails were shells.

I had probably 100 pond snails in my 125...
I added 7 TINY like 1" baby clown loaches...

Now I got like 6 snails, and some fat clowns...

I think my clowns must be vegetarian....I had snails ocme in on a plant - the tank was overrun ith them, the clowns ignore them......I crush daily, (The Angel fish and Rainbows queue up for them once they are crushed!)and when I water change the funnell is teeming as is the substrate, the mopani, the plant leaves.....!
