Firemouth help

I just got my Firemouth yesterday... when i put him in the tank at first, he went and hid behind a plant. This morning he went under a section of the driftwood and only came out to eat. he would chase away my Kisser but not my Opaline... And now he's coming out more often... but is still in the same place. What's wrong with him? Is he sick? Or just being left out?

hes probably just getting used to everything since hes eating he should be fine. just wait a few days

I agree.. Probably just a little shy, he/she will get better within a couple days... What's your water params? I've seen fish act "shy" because of high Ph
