Just curious if anyone has seen this before, or am I just going crazy. I have a plastic plant in the bowl with my Betta and one of the leaves is slowly disappearing. It looks for all the world like Theo is munching on it, although I've never actually seen him take a bite! Is this possible?... am I not feeding him enough?... does he need more roughage in his diet?!? The biggest staple in his diet now (other than plastic) is Hikari Betta Bio-gold pellets, usually twice a day. I've tried other stuff, but he never seems too interested.

You are going crazy!

I doubt the betta is eating it :D
More likely picking at algae or something.
If the plastic is old and degrading maybe it has gone brittle and is breaking off a bit with every nibble? Feel the plastic leaf and see it anything happens?

A mystery...

The plant is only 6 months old, and it is only one leaf, and its been shrinking week, by week, I swear! I'll have to take a picture of it and post it. Maybe I should contact Ripley's!:)
