Hi all, I am having some questions regarding liquid fert. If I have more fast growing plants i.e. Limnophila Sessiliflora in the tank than slow growers, would they take up all the fert / nutrients I dose leaving the other plants nutrient deficient? Should I try to limit their number?

fast growing plants will take up more nutrients than slow growers but you don't need to limit them. Just add enough ferts to ensure there is plenty for all plants, it is better to have excess ferts than not enough. You don't need to worry about algae if you have enough plants.

Thanks Phanmc. I am dosing liquid fert called Plant Plus from Aquatech (Thailand) on a daily basis. Packed in 25ml small bottle and the dosage regiment is 1 drop/ US gallon and to be adjusted on how densely the plants in the tank. So far just 1 drop/g though I have a lot of fast growing plants. I am facing a little bit of fert shortage and until someone goes to Thailand.

I see some of my plants stop growing and leaves tend to grow in curvy shape. The fert only stated NPK and other vital elements. Should I increase the amount of fert or the fert itself lacks certain type of nutrients?
