I am going to be using 2 1 gallon diy co2 setups. i was wondering if i can diffuse both of them through the same limewood airstone using a t-connector for the hoses. i would have both bottles set up the same with the tubing from each one running to a t-connector, then one tube going from the t-connector to the airstone under my intake on my cannister. would this work or are they problems that would arise that i am not thinking of?

Be careful you aren't creating suction on the CO2 mixture because once the CO2 production slows down you don't want the yeast mixture to get sucked out and into your tank.

should and will work.. just make sure there are no leaks

What size tank you will be using it on?

its my 46 gallon tank. i am a little concerned about the mixture getting into the tank though. is there anything i could do with this setup to avoid that? what if i did like i said but after running both tubes to the t-connector, run the tub from the connector into another bottle, like a gas separator, that way if the mixture does get sucked up the tube it should just end up in the separator instead of the tank. would that work?

that will work. But as long as the bottles are below the tank and theres no way of knocking them over, you shouldnt worry about the mixture getting in the tank
