Nope, not at all. They don't really bother any plants.

Corys shouldn't bother any plant as jinx said.

maybe its pond snails eating them. i had some pond snails jump on the anubias and the lotus and go to town.

Pond snails (or any other snails) shouldn't be eating leaves unless they are starved. Otherwise they only go after already dead plant matter.

Anubias aren't picky but I would guess a nutrient/light deficiency over the corys eating them...

I am 99.9% positive that that cory's would never touch anubias. unless ofcourese they are starving:) and even then they probably wouldnt.

Talking about catfish, what about synodontis cats and plants, is that a problem?

Nope. Catfish don't have the mouth to "chew" on plants.
