Is this a good filter for a 46 gal bow front???? I heard the bows are harder to circulate the water. My second question is ...How does it compare to a Fluval or Filstar????? Comments and suggestions are welcomed!

I am a true eheim believer. There is no better canister filter.
I intend to use a 2213 on my 46 bowfront, it's possible I may use 2 but since the tank will be planted I don't think I'll need the 2cd one. You might consider a 2215 for your tank if it's not planted. Try ebay, you can get them pretty cheap. Just do a search on eheim 2215 or eheim 2213, include descriptions in the search.

thats a very good filter...i like that and fluval....i have the fluval 404 and it works great
