I haven't ordered from LiveAquaria, but would never attempt AZGardens again....
I did get 8 small Discus from 'A Discus Dream' in Ohio and all were in perfect condition, and I live in Florida, so it's possible to find a reputable, experienced 'dealer' out there.
Good Luck with it...

Joe,
Have you ever checked out Jack Wattley's site in Miami?
Since you are such a discus fan.. I thought you would try him out.

As for sites, I have ordered fish through have been all oddball aquatics (http://www.alloddballaquatics.com) and sachs systems aquaculture. They did very well and I have heard others have done well. As for ordering, it should be a last resort, try your local fish club's auctions or local breeders in your area. When ordering fish online, its only the truely hard to find stuff or marine fish that make it truely worth ordering. I wouldn't order neon or guppies, unless they were actual show guppies. www.showguppies.com

In the future we will keep Wattley's in mind and look into them again.. Thanks!

You can always ask your LFS if they can order a fish. Sometimes if they don't have it, they can get whoever they get them from to put them on the truck next time they deliver. I checked 2 different stores to see if they could get fish for me special order when i was setting up my 20gal. This would save you the huge shipping for overnight fish anyway.
I ordered some stuff from liveaquaria.com once, but nothing was live.....just a filter and some other misc. stuff. I guess they are a pretty good place to get things, but i would think mail ordering live fish is luck of the draw since anything could happen along the way. Then again, i suppose that is how the fish get to the dealers that sell to the LFS..
