Hey guys, I have a 29 gal tank that someone gave me. Its missing the bottem trim piece. Its been siliconed along the bottem edge inside and outside the tank. Think this tank will safelly hold water? Thanks Tim

The trim is generally for looks. I've got a 20 high that lost the trim on the bottom, and it works fine. Many people build DIY tanks with no frame at all.
I'd mainly be concerned that there are no pressure points (i.e., high spots) on the bottom; a layer of foam padding would insure that.

Thanks I wasnt sure, I guess Ill clean it up and have one more tank. This will be 7 or I might just loose the 5 gal. Any how thanks again. Tim
