this is a pic of a near adult RTBS. the pvc pipe behind him is a 5" T connection. i figure him to be about 5" long.

whenever i see them in fish stores they look doggone skinny compared to mine, but i rarely see this guy eat anything. spends most of his time telling a giant danio where to go since he doesnt have a chinese algea eater to pick on anymore.

They are an absolutely beautiful fish,
i had one just like that jumped right of my 100g
when i was doing a water change.
(i went to answer the phone)
Goes to show never leave the cover of your tank
even for an instant, i never noticed my RTBS
missing untill 3 hrs later, when it was to late.

I would like to get a cruiser for my 30gal community tank. Would a red tail or silver shark be happy?

redtail sharks are slightly more aggressive that most 'comunity' fish are...

nice shark andrubez...as to the girth maybe yours is a female
