hello i have 3 albino cories- great fish!!! however i am getting a 55 gal curerently in my 20 gal - i want to get some more cories so they feel comfortable in the big tank, but i dont want to get more albino's only becuase i wont be able to tell em apart from my original ones who i have nick names for hahaha! so i'm wondering if i get some aenus cories will they bunch up n feel like they belong as all one big happy cory group? or will they sorta stay seperate from each other? in other words can they tell the difference between each other or does it matter - i know they'll get along- but will the albino's respond better to toher albino's or will they sorta school with say spotted or others types of cories also
thanks!!!

they should school together, they're actully the same species!
bronze cories (corydoras aenus) are the species from which albino cories were bred from, so they should be fine together, just as long as you get enough, i'd say go with at least 6 more, but if you want it to look real good, go for more albinos.
it's been my experience that just about every cory species (maybe with the exception of a few of the rarer ones) will shoal with just about every other one.
i don't see any difficulties, and if you want to tell them apart, take my opinion, don't bother, it's damned near impossible:p

I agree - you shouldn't have problems with adding another "common" cory species. I have 4 peppered cories and 1 spotted cory - the spotted acts like part of the family.
And I agree about telling them apart - I named the peppereds, Oregano, Basil, Dill, and Sage and the only one I can tell for sure without close examination is Oregano - she's a BIG female. The others usually just get called whichever name pops in my mind first!:D

WolfPup522, don't you know that if you're gonna name a group of four fish after herbs they should be Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme?!? :D

LOL - My daughter and I named them after our favorite spices. I'll keep your names in mind, though - Oregano just laid more eggs so we're hoping for some babies soon!
