the light fell into my feeder crayfish tank this evening. it flickered a bit and i pulled it back out by the cord. something smells a little like fried electrics but none of the crayfish were hurt.
its plugged into a powerstrip with a circuit breaker on it and it didnt trip. i think the bulb is toast. it was a fancy actinic/white bulb i didnt have any other good use for.
the only other time ive dropped a light in, a circuit breaker tripped.
