View Full Version : Suggested Tankmates?

I'm just looking for suggestions for one more species in my 55 gallon planted tank. Right now I have 2 SAEs, 4 otos, 2 panda cories (I'm getting 2 more) and 4 blue gouramis. I was thinking of Angels but I'm thinking I want something different since I've kept angels before. My pH is 7.0 and temp is 76 degrees. Any suggestions?

Maybe a school of Tiger Barbs or Neon Tetras. That would be very nice. Also, a pleco would be nice, like a gold nugget or a bristle-nose.

Yeah, a school of something would go nicely in there. But would the gouramis eat neon tetras?

No they wouldn't. I've had neons with gouramis before and the acted no different.

Heh I do love my algae eaters and they do a great job! I have almost no visible algae except the recent outbreak of BG algae which no fish would touch ;)
