Some one told me they have a giant betta with a large angel fish. But they said the betta has small fins he seems to think it's a male. You think its a female? I didn't think angels and Bettas got along

Are giants hard to get? so some online but not in LFS

in the pics the fins look long. Is it like other bettas they don't like fish that resemble them?

PetSmart has started carrying "King Giant Betta". They are large Betta plakat. Some even have interesting color. Angels and Betta as a rule do not get along well. The angels get large and aggressive, the Betta only attack fish with long flowing fins, like Fancy Guppies. You can keep several females (I have had up to seven unrelated females in a 25 gal tank), with lots of plants and wood to establish territories. Betta have very unique personalities, and some will be more aggressive than others (even brothers and sisters raised together). They can be like chickens, and pick on the weakest. They can get along and be the best of pals. You just have to see what you end up with. Oops, sorry... runaway tangent.
